Earlier today I visited MACA (Museo de Arte Contemporaneo http://www.maca-alicante.es) and saw the modernist work of Eusebio Sempere.  I wonder if the shelters on the pier are inspired by him.  (His outdoor 'mirror' del castillo is fantastic)
